### Locums | OB/GYN (Laborist) | Call Only | Modesto, CA ### Why This Role
- Laborist model with 12- or 24-hour shifts
- Inpatient-only focus with consistent volume
- Ongoing coverage with potential locums-to-perm
- Fast-paced environment with full OB scope ### Assignment Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Call Only
- Setting: Inpatient
- Schedule: 12-hour or 24-hour shifts
- Call Type: Beeper (7-minute response time)
- Call Ratio: 1:4
- EMR: Cerner
- Patients per Shift: 10–15
- Credentialing: 30–60 days
- Will accept multiple providers: No ### Requirements
- Board Certified OB/GYN
- Active CA license
- BLS and PALS required
- Clean history ### Clinical Details
- Full-scope OB/GYN Laborist coverage
- Routine and complicated deliveries
- C-sections, breech, abruptions
- FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
- OB ultrasounds (Level I required, Level II preferred)
- Surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic)
- Office/minor GYN procedures (IUD, colposcopy, etc.)
- 25% callback rate
- Admissions required ### Compensation
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
