Locums | OB/GYN | Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call | Richmond, VA Why This Role * Collaborative team with 4 physicians and 5 midwives in office and hospital settings * Mix of office hours and OB/GYN call coverage with support from dedicated clinical staff * Full-scope OB/GYN practice including low- and high-risk pregnancies, deliveries, and gynecologic surgeries * Access to onsite lab, ultrasound, and advanced office equipment Assignment Details * Start Date: 05/01/2026 * End Date: 08/31/2026 * Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call * Schedule: Office hours 8:00–16:00; call 24/7, weekdays included * Patients per Day: 25–30 * Call Details: 1 in 4 through Perfect Serve * EMR: EPC Requirements * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology * Active VA license (or willing to obtain) * BLS and ACLS * Clean history * Self-query NPDB within 30 days of presentation * Provider must be local; mileage reimbursed * Must state travel origin at time of name clear Clinical Details * Scope: Full-scope OB/GYN including office visits, labor & delivery, and gynecologic procedures * Typical Procedures: * Low-risk pregnancy management (twins, toxemia, pyelonephritis, etc.) * FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) * OB ultrasounds (Level I/screening and Level II/targeted reads) * Routine deliveries: vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section * Complicated deliveries: C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs, repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations * Office/minor gynecology: IUDs, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP * Surgical gynecology: open procedures, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, operative/major (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs) Compensation * Rates: Facility is accepting bids * Malpractice: Provided * Travel: Reimbursed
