Qualifications

• MD or DO required; board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN)
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology preferred
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania, or ability to obtain (PA medical license)
• Clinical skills in vaginal deliveries and IUD procedures required
• Strong teamwork, emergency response, and labor & delivery management skills for hospitalist roles

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house labor and delivery coverage as an OB Hospitalist / laborist for the hospital
• Perform vaginal deliveries and IUD procedures and manage routine obstetric care
• Respond to labor and delivery emergencies and provide high-quality, patient-centered care
• Participate in scheduled 24-hour call shifts, including weekend coverage as needed
• Collaborate with hospital staff, nursing teams, and specialists to ensure continuity of care
• Document clinical encounters accurately in the medical record and communicate handoffs clearly
