Excellent locum opportunity for an OB/GYN Physician to provide 24-hour call coverage in a well-supported acute care setting. This role offers exposure to a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic procedures, making it ideal for providers seeking a dynamic and rewarding assignment with consistent scheduling blocks. 🌟
Job Responsibilities
🔹 Provide 24-hour OB/GYN call coverage (1st call)
🔹 Manage labor & delivery, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries
🔹 Perform gynecological procedures (D&C, laparoscopic, robotic surgeries)
🔹 Handle emergency OB/GYN cases and patient management
🔹 Conduct patient evaluations, consultations, and follow-ups
🔹 Collaborate with nursing staff and on-call anesthesiologists
Qualifications
✔️ Board Certified in OB/GYN
✔️ Active NY State License
✔️ Minimum 2 years of recent experience
✔️ AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
✔️ Epic EMR experience required
Working Hours
🕒 24-Hour Call Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
📅 Flexible scheduling blocks (multi-day stretches preferred)
