Required Skills:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (BC or BE)
- Valid Pennsylvania medical license
- DEA license
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in OB/GYN
- Proficiency in performing VBACs, cesarean sections, and managing high-risk deliveries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience working in a hospital setting with EPIC EMR
- Experience in handling complex obstetric cases
- Knowledge of multidisciplinary approaches in obstetric care
- Bilingual abilities in Spanish or other languages for diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- At least one year of relevant clinical practice
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume deliveries (approximately 700 per year)
Other Requirements:
- Availability for 24-hour in-house call shifts, with a maximum of 48 hours
- Willingness to support 10 days of coverage per month
- Ability to work rotating day shifts from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.
- Commitment to adhering to hospital protocols and standards
- Credentialing process completed within approximately 90 days; temporary options available with a clean file
Compensation:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $258.67
