Required Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of case logs as an OB Hospitalist
  • Recent experience practicing as an OB Hospitalist within the past 2 years
  • Board-Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN)
  • Active Florida Medical License (must submit LOQ with application; license via IMLC is acceptable)
  • Current FL DEA registration
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills
  • Surgical first assist training
  • Experience with pediatric hospitalist services
  • Knowledge of EMR systems, specifically Meditech
  • Additional certifications in neonatal or maternal care

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Prior experience working in a Level 2 NICU or similar setting
  • Proven track record of providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Other Requirements
  • Willingness to work 24-hour in-call shifts from 7 am to 7 am
  • Ability to work 2-3 consecutive call shifts
  • Background check and licensing verification
  • Commitment to adherence to all healthcare regulations and protocols
