Job description Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer Dallas, TX

Prestigious Health System | 13 or 26-Week Travel Contract | Temp-to-Perm Option

Are you an experienced MFM Sonographer looking for your next high-impact "gig"? We are currently representing a well-known, prestigious healthcare system in the Dallas/Fort Worth area that needs your expertise. This is an incredible opportunity to join a recognized team of medical professionals across a variety of clinics and facilities in the DFW metroplex.


The Opportunity
  • Location: Greater Dallas / Fort Worth Area
  • Duration: 13 or 26 weeks (with a Temp-to-Perm option for the right fit!)
  • Schedule: Monday Friday, 08:00 AM 05:00 PM
  • Hours: 40-hour guaranteed work week
  • Workload: Highly manageable patient load (10 or less per day)
  • Environment: Work independently scanning and reporting, with supportive faculty review and feedback on all reports.
Technical Environment
  • Equipment: GE E8 Sonography equipment, Digisonics
  • EMR: EPIC
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an Accredited Sonography Program (Associates required, Bachelors preferred).
  • Experience: 2+ years of ultrasound experience preferred.
  • Certifications: * ARDMS registered.
    • RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) Must have or be willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.
    • BLS/CPR (AHA or American Red Cross).
  • Clinical Skills: Proficiency in MFM, NT, BPP, AFI, and Gyn.
  • Preferred: Fetal Echo experience.
Core Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality color duplex imaging (carotid, extremity venous/arterial, abdominal Doppler, OB/GYN, and general body).
  • Verify orders, patient history, and symptoms to ensure clinical criteria are met.
  • Collaborate with physicians during specialized imaging or biopsy procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly work area and manage equipment quality control/maintenance.
  • Mentor and monitor students and new staff as needed.
