We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician for a locum opportunity in New York with a structured 24-hour call schedule and a diverse mix of obstetric and gynecologic cases.

Duration: ~8 weeks

Specific coverage blocks available (flexibility preferred)
🕒 Schedule:

24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 PM)

First call coverage
-
Mix of day and night shifts
-
Preference for continuous coverage blocks
🏥 Practice Setting:
-
Hospital-based OB/GYN unit
-
94-bed facility
🩺 Scope of Work:
-
Manage OB/GYN patients across:
-
Labor & Delivery
-
Gynecologic procedures
-
-
Procedures include:
-
Vaginal deliveries (SVD & operative)
-
Cesarean sections
-
D&C / D&E
-
Circumcisions
-
Laparoscopic, robotic & abdominal GYN surgeries
-
-
Patient volume: 0–10 patients per day
👩⚕️ Support Staff:

RNs (day & night coverage)
-
CNAs, clerks
-
Anesthesiologist on call at all times
✅ Requirements:
-
Board Certified OB/GYN
-
Active New York medical license (required)
-
ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required

Minimum 2 years of experience
