🔥 OB/GYN Locum Opportunity – Christiansburg, VA
📅 July 2026 Start | ⏳ 6-Month Assignment
We are seeking an OB/GYN physician for a high-volume locum opportunity in Christiansburg, VA. This is a great fit for providers who enjoy a busy L&D environment and working alongside residents.
💼 Schedule:
8 24-hour in-house call shifts per month
Ability to work 2 consecutive 24-hour shifts
🏥 Practice Details
146-bed acute care hospital | Level II Nursery
EMR: EPIC
Team: 5 OB/GYNs, 5 APPs, 1 CNM
70–75 deliveries/month + 20–25 GYN surgeries
Coverage includes all OB services + unassigned OB/GYN call
Resident supervision required
🩺 Scope of Work:
Full-scope OB/GYN
Minor GYN surgical procedures
High-volume L&D environment (not a slow practice)
✅ Requirements:
Board Certified (ABOG)
Active Virginia license
DEA required
2–3 years minimum experience (5+ preferred)
Preferred: EFM, NRP, PALS
90–120 day credentialing (Name clear required)
✈️ Travel, lodging, and rental car provided
