Coverage: 24-Hour Call
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule:
- Mix of 12-hour and 24-hour shifts
Practice Details:
- Laborist role – inpatient coverage
- 10–15 patients per shift
- EMR: Cerner
- Support staff: Medical Assistants
- OB department beds: 3
Clinical Scope:
Full-scope OB/GYN including:
- Low & high-risk pregnancy management
- FHR interpretation (NST, CST, FSE)
- OB ultrasound (performance & interpretation)
- Vaginal deliveries and operative deliveries (including forceps)
- Cesarean sections and decision-making for C-sections
- Complicated deliveries including breech, VBACs, multiple births, and abruptions
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Minor office gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP)
- Surgical gynecology including laparoscopic and open procedures
