Position Details:
Location: Canton-Potsdam Hospital
Shift: 7p-7p or 7a-7a, 24hr call (1st call)
Would prefer not to break up stretches, but will if needed:
4/6 7p – 4/12 7p
4/13 7p – 4/16 7a
5/1 7a – 5/3 7p
5/14 7p – 5/17 7p
5/18 7p – 5/24 7p
Certs: Must be Board Certified, Must have BLS, ACLS, NRP
Patient Volume: 15-20 patients/day
Notes: Must have 2 years’ recent experience. NY license in hand, EPIC charting required. Must be board-certified.
Procedures:
SVD, Operative vaginal delivery (forceps or vacuum), vaginal delivery repair, Cesarean section, infant male circumcisions, D&C/D&E, Laparoscopic/robotic/abdominal gynecological surgeries
Staff on unit:
RNs: 6 on days/ 5 on nights
Anesthesiologist – on call at all times
CNAs – 1 per shift
Clerks – 1 per shift
Acuity level of patients: Adults and Peds, acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems.
Number of beds: 94 total
Patient Ratios: 0-10
Automated Medication dispensing system: Pixys
Charting: EPIC
Required:
AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP
NY State License
Min of 2 years’ experience in the last two years
Must be board certified
Travel Covered by Facility
NY License in Hand
Epic Experience Required
Must be Board Certified
Ensure that the work history is up to date
Ensure there are no gaps of 30+ days
If malpractice is involved, dismissed or not, we need a physician statement
