Availability

• 24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 PM)

• Coverage blocks requested (preference not to split):

Coverage Needs:

• Apr 6 (7p) – Apr 12 (7p)

• Apr 13 (7p) – Apr 16 (7a)

• May 1 (7a) – May 3 (7p)

• May 14 (7p) – May 17 (7p)

• May 18 (7p) – May 24 (7p)

Licensure

• Active New York license required

• License must be in hand

• Willing to license: No

Board Certification

• Board Certified – Obstetrics & Gynecology required

Certifications

• BLS – Required

• ACLS – Required

• NRP – Required

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent OB experience

• Must have 2 years of experience within the last two years

• Epic experience required

Providers should be comfortable performing:

• Spontaneous vaginal deliveries (SVD)

• Operative vaginal deliveries (forceps or vacuum)

• Vaginal delivery repairs

• Cesarean sections

• Infant male circumcisions

• D&C / D&E procedures

• Laparoscopic, robotic, and abdominal gynecologic surgeries

• 15–20 patients per day

Total Beds: 94 Patient Population: Adults and pediatrics with a wide range of acute conditions

Unit Staffing

• Registered Nurses: 6 day / 5 night

• Anesthesiologist: On call at all times

• CNAs: 1 per shift

• Clerks: 1 per shift
