OB/GYN Locums Opportunity – Southern California
Start Date: June 1, 2026
Duration: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
Practice Setting: Inpatient / Outpatient
Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN for an ongoing opportunity in Southern California beginning June 2026. This is a well-supported practice offering a balanced mix of clinic and deliveries.
Schedule:
- 3–4 days per week
- Clinic hours: 9:00am–4:00pm (option to start at 8:30am)
- Mix of clinic coverage and hospital deliveries
- On call approximately 3–4 days per week:
- Weekday call: ~5:00pm–7:00am
- Weekend call: 24-hour beeper call (7:00am–7:00am)
- One half-day administrative time (built into schedule)
Practice Details:
- 18–20 patients per shift
- Strong support staff in place
- EMR: Epic
- Trauma Level: Pediatric Level III
- 1 provider needed
Required Skills & Experience:
- Management of low- and high-risk pregnancies
- FHR interpretation (NST, CST, FSE)
- OB ultrasound performance & interpretation
- Routine and complicated deliveries
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Office/minor gynecology (IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)
- Surgical gynecology
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active California medical license
- DEA required
- ACLS & BLS certifications required
Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days
