Job Summary & Responsibilities:
A Federally Qualified Health Center in the Southwest Chicago communities is seeking a mission-driven OB/GYN Physician who is passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare and improving community health outcomes. The physician will provide comprehensive women's health services including prenatal, obstetric, well-woman, and gynecological care in both ambulatory and inpatient settings. The role emphasizes preventive care, patient education, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide women's health ambulatory care including patient history review, physical examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and patient education.

Deliver prenatal, obstetric, and gynecological care using primary care principles.

Maintain productivity standards averaging approximately 2.6-2.7 patient visits per hour.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and accurate clinical documentation.

Diagnose conditions and prescribe treatments and referrals in accordance with medical practice guidelines.

Implement and document age-specific preventive health schedules for patients.

Manage follow-up appointments, referrals, and continuity of care for OB/GYN patients.

Provide inpatient OB/GYN care at assigned partner hospitals and maintain hospital privileges.

Participate in call schedules and take call for patients as assigned by the Medical Director.

Contribute to program planning and community health activities when required.

Maintain clinical competency through continuing medical education (CME).
Education, Licensure, and Experience:

Graduate of an accredited medical school.

Completion of an accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Spanish language skills preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and maintain professional integrity and confidentiality.
