In this position, you will provide comprehensive OB/GYN services, including vaginal deliveries, operative interventions, cesarean sections, gynecological surgeries, and pediatric procedures. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes while managing a diverse patient population in a high-acuity setting. Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active NY State Medical License
- Minimum of 2 years recent clinical experience in OB/GYN
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Proficiency in EPIC charting system
- Ability to perform complex OB/GYN procedures including vaginal deliveries, operative vaginal delivery, C-sections, and gynecologic surgeries
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work 24-hour shifts, either day or night
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with robotic or laparoscopic gynecologic surgeries
- Prior experience in teaching hospitals or high-volume settings
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Pixys medication dispensing system
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- At least two years of recent practice within the last two years, with evidence of continuous work history
Other Requirements:
- Current NY State medical license in hand
- Valid certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP
- Experience with EPIC charting required
- Involvement in complex obstetric cases and surgeries
- Ability to provide documentation of malpractice history and work gaps, if applicable
- Willingness to work scheduled night shifts (24-hour shifts) with on-call responsibilities
- Coverage of licensure, travel, and related expenses when applicable
