Locums | Obstetrics and Gynecology | Clinic + Call | Marquette, MI Why This Role

  • Ongoing coverage need with scheduled assignments and long-term continuity
  • Balanced inpatient OB practice with moderate daily volume
  • Opportunity to work in a teaching environment with resident involvement
Assignment Details Start date May 28, 2026 with ongoing assignments Orientation on May 28 followed by 24-hour call coverage blocks 24-hour in-house call with arrival expectations for ED and L&D Average call volume approximately 8 per 24 hours Clinical Details Inpatient obstetrics and gynecology setting Approximately 4–5 patients per day Labor and delivery unit with 15 beds and 370–380 deliveries annually Assigned and unassigned patient coverage with family medicine residents typically managing unassigned cases Resident and medical student supervision required EMR systems Athena and Cerner Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Active Michigan license required, IMLC not accepted Comfortable with inpatient OB coverage, deliveries, and surgical gynecology Ability to supervise residents and medical students Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
