- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and PEDS level 2 is looking for a provider to cover beeper call if needed. We are seeking one board-certified OBGYN with an active Oregon medical license and DEA registration to cover up to eight 24-hour call shifts per month, ideally including two weekends. Call coverage can be scheduled as Thursday 7 a.m.–Monday 7 a.m. or Friday 7 a.m.–Tuesday 7 a.m., with the provider remaining offsite but able to respond within 15 minutes for stat C-sections. Responsibilities include after-hours OBGYN clinic call, inpatient OB coverage, and GYN ED call. The provider will support Family Medicine OB physicians and residents for unassigned OB call and C-section backup. The hospital has four labor rooms, four postpartum rooms, and an OR in the L&D unit, with Respiratory Therapists and Lactation Support onsite. The facility performs approximately 350 deliveries per year, with the OBGYN group covering about half. VBACs and planned deliveries under 35 weeks are not offered, and there is no NICU. NRP certification is required.

Job Responsibilities
* Manage inpatient OB and GYN ED call, including unassigned OB cases
* Serve as backup for C-sections for Family Medicine OB physicians and residents
* Respond to stat C-sections within 15 minutes
* Collaborate with OR crew, anesthesia, Respiratory Therapists, and Lactation Support
* Support high-quality care in labor, delivery, and postpartum units
Qualifications
* Active Oregon medical license and DEA registration
* NRP certification required
* Experience in inpatient OB and ED call coverage
* Ability to collaborate effectively with Family Medicine OB physicians and residents
Working Hours
* Sample schedules: Thursday 7 a.m.–Monday 7 a.m. or Friday 7 a.m.–Tuesday 7 a.m.
* Provider may remain offsite but must respond within 15 minutes for stat C-sections
* Coverage includes high-priority weekends (e.g., June 19–21, June 26–28, July 31–Aug 2)
