Locum Tenens OBGYN – Outpatient Clinic
Location: South Carolina (SC)
Duration: March 9 – May 29, 2026
Schedule: Full-Time | Mon–Thu (8–5), Fri (8–12) | No Call / No Weekends
The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Board Certified or Board Eligible OBGYN to provide urgent locum tenens coverage for a premier, well-established practice in South Carolina. This assignment is strictly focused on outpatient clinic operations, providing a rare opportunity to maintain a high clinical impact without the burden of hospital rounds, deliveries, or weekend call.
This need arises from temporary medical leaves within a robust team of six MDs and two APPs. You will be integrated into a supportive, high-functioning environment where the primary goal is maintaining continuity of care for a loyal patient base.
Key Responsibilities
- High-Volume Clinical Care: Manage a daily census of 30–35 patients, ensuring high-quality diagnostic and prenatal care in a fast-paced setting.
- Obstetric Focus: Primarily manage routine and high-risk OB office visits, including prenatal check-ups and postpartum follow-ups.
- Urgent Gynecological Care: Address acute GYN concerns (e.g., pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, or infections) as they arise within the daily schedule.
- Collaborative Practice: Work alongside a seasoned team of four MDs and one APP to ensure seamless office flow and patient safety.
