Job Opportunity: Locum OB/GYN Physician in Longmont, CO

Join our dynamic team at a leading medical facility in Longmont, Colorado, where we are looking for a dedicated OB/GYN physician to provide essential care. Our state-of-the-art hospital offers a supportive environment with a focus on both low and high-risk pregnancies, providing an excellent practice setting with a well-established team of professionals. Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care including low and high-risk pregnancies.
  • Perform deliveries in a Level II nursery with the ability to transfer to a higher-level NICU.
  • Manage an average of 4-5 patients per day in a hospital setting.
  • Conduct an average of 3-4 deliveries and 1-4 emergent OB/GYN surgeries per week.
  • Engage in routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and VBACs.
  • Perform necessary gynecological surgical procedures, both minor and major.
  • Collaborate with a team of 7 OB/GYNs and 4 mid-levels to ensure quality patient care.
  • Utilize Epic for documentation and facilitate referrals as necessary.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified in OB/GYN.
  • Current Colorado Medical License or Active IMLC LOQ.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
  • Ability to perform required obstetric, labor & delivery, and gynecological procedures.
  • Self-Query NPDB report (pulled within the month) at the time of presentation.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Active Colorado License or IMLC LOQ - [REQUIRED]
  • Board Certification in OB/GYN - [REQUIRED]
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications - [REQUIRED]
