General OBGYN opening in Phoenix, AZ Position Overview:
- Opening located in Phoenix, AZ
- Full Time; Permanent
- Employed
- Work in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
- FQHCs qualify for Federal and State sponsored loan repayment programs. The current facility scores within the system are 21.
- Opportunity to teach students and residents serving a patient population primarily composed of an underserved community

- The clinical practice includes L&D, neonatal and general pediatric surgery, general surgery, robotic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, burn, level I trauma, orthopedics, podiatric surgery, and special procedures outside the OR
- Complete gynecological services, including annual well-woman exams
- Contraceptive counseling and management, and family planning
- Diagnosis and treatment of sexually-transmitted infections and diseases (STD)
- Endometrial ablations
- Maternity and delivery care
- Patient education and counseling
- Perimenopausal and menopausal care
- Treatment of gynecological issues, including: - Abnormal bleeding - Chronic pelvic pain - Difficult or painful sexual intercourse - Dilation and curettage - Dysfunctional uterine bleeding - Endometriosis - Menstrual cramping - Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) - Vaginal/vulvar disorders
