Obstetrics and Gynecology (Locum) – Exciting Opportunity for Experienced OBGYN Providers
Join our dedicated team as a Locum Obstetrician and Gynecologist and make a meaningful impact on women’s health services in a dynamic hospital setting. This role offers flexibility, competitive compensation, and the chance to work in a supportive environment committed to excellence. You will provide crucial after-hours clinic care, inpatient OB, and GYN Emergency Department coverage, with opportunities to influence patient outcomes directly.
Required Skills:
- Active Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) license and DEA registration for operating room activities
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certified
- Ability to respond within 15 minutes for emergency stat C-section calls
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and multitasking skills
- Flexibility to cover 8 call shifts per month, including weekends
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in hospital OB/GYN settings
- Familiarity with outpatient OB and GYN clinic procedures
- Previous locum or temporary staffing experience
- Knowledge of hospital protocols and emergency response procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical OB/GYN practice
- Prior experience in hospital-based obstetrics and gynecology
Other Requirements:
- Valid Ohio RN license
- OR DEA registration
- Privileging process may take approximately 90 days; timely submission of credentials is essential
- Ability to work remotely with offsite calls within 15 minutes of hospital
- Willingness to work specific high-priority weekends: June 19-21, June 26-28, July 31-Aug 2
