An excellent locum OB/GYN opportunity offering 24-hour in-house hospital coverage with a steady monthly schedule. Ideal for experienced physicians who enjoy hands-on obstetric care, deliveries, and managing acute inpatient cases in a supportive hospital environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide 24-hour in-house coverage on the Labor & Delivery floor
• Manage obstetric patients, triage cases, and inpatient consults
• Perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and circumcisions
• Handle emergency gynecologic cases as needed
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams for safe patient care
Qualifications
• Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Active Illinois medical license or IMLC LOQ
• Proven OB/GYN inpatient and delivery experience
• Clean malpractice and professional background
• NPDB self-query (recent)
Working Hours
• 24-hour in-house shifts
• 6–8 shifts per month
• Weekend coverage required
• On-call responsibilities included
