Exciting locum OB/GYN opportunity in a well-supported, collaborative women’s health practice. This role combines clinic-based care with hospital call coverage, supported by experienced physicians, midwives, and dedicated clinical staff. Ideal for providers seeking a balanced mix of obstetrics and gynecology in a high-quality care environment 🤰👩⚕️
Job Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care in office and hospital settings
• Manage low- and high-risk pregnancies
• Perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, VBACs, and obstetric procedures
• Interpret fetal heart monitoring and OB ultrasounds
• Perform office-based and surgical gynecologic procedures
• Participate in shared call rotation and coordinated patient coverage
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Active Virginia medical license (or willing to obtain)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong experience in obstetrics and gynecology
• Ability to work independently with excellent clinical judgment
Working Hours
• Clinic: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Call: 24-hour weekday and weekend call coverage
• Call Ratio: 1:4 ⏰
