Outstanding locum-to-perm OB/GYN opportunity combining office-based care with hospital call coverage. Step into a well-established women’s health practice with strong midwife and clinical support, a balanced case mix, and the potential to transition into a long-term role after the assignment period 🌸
Job Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care in clinic and hospital settings
• Manage prenatal care for low- and high-risk pregnancies
• Perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, VBACs, and obstetric procedures
• Interpret fetal heart monitoring and OB ultrasounds
• Perform office and surgical gynecologic procedures
• Participate in shared call rotation and coordinated patient coverage
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Active Virginia medical license (or eligible to obtain)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong experience across obstetrics and gynecology
• Clean background and current NPDB self-query
Working Hours
• Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Call: 24-hour weekday call and weekend coverage
• Call ratio: 1:4 ⏰
• Coverage period: May 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026
