Board-Certified OB Hospitalist Opportunities in California!

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Board-Certified OB Hospitalist to provide coverage for various dates in March and April. This is a hospital-based role at a 375-bed community hospital with approximately 20% of practice focused on gynecology. The physician will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including labor and delivery coverage and surgical gynecology services.

Dates / Schedule

• Various dates in March and April (specific dates to be confirmed)

• EPIC documentation system

• Community hospital setting (no trauma designation)

Job Details & Responsibilities

Facility Overview

• 375-bed community hospital

• 20% Gynecology practice

• EMR: EPIC

Obstetrics Responsibilities

• Manage low-risk and high-risk pregnancies

• Perform and interpret NST, CST, and FSE

• Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds (Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted/Anatomic)

• Provide comprehensive labor and delivery coverage

Labor & Delivery Procedures

• Routine vaginal deliveries (including low forceps)

• C-section decision-making

• Complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech births, multiple gestations, abruptions, and related cases

Gynecology Responsibilities

• Surgical gynecology (open and major operative procedures)

• Management of ectopic pregnancies

• Ovary removal and cystectomy

• Extensive lysis of adhesions (LOA)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Board Certified in OB/GYN (Required)

• Active California Medical License (Required)

• BLS Certification (Required)

• Clean background with no malpractice history (Required)

• Self-Query NPDB (dated within one month of presentation) (Required)

All required documentation must be provided at the time of name clear to avoid redirection. This role requires a fully credentialed OB Hospitalist experienced in both high-risk obstetrics and complex gynecologic surgical procedures.
