An established, patient-centered healthcare organization in Longmont, Colorado is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Nocturnist to join a collaborative inpatient team. This opportunity is ideal for physicians who are passionate about high-quality obstetric care, prefer night-focused schedules, and thrive in a supportive hospital-based environment.

The role focuses exclusively on inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care during overnight shifts, ensuring comprehensive coverage and continuity of care.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric care overnight including labor management, deliveries, postpartum care, and triage
• Manage gynecologic consults for acute issues during nocturnist shifts
• Perform urgent assessments and emergency interventions for obstetric and gynecologic patients
• Collaborate with a team of OB/GYN physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
• Communicate effectively with day teams to ensure smooth handoffs
• Document patient interactions and procedures in Epic EMR
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Support emergency obstetric situations and rapid response cases
• Contribute to hospital committees or overnight process improvements as needed

Qualifications

• Board Certified in OB/GYN (Required – No Exceptions)
• Active Colorado license or willing to obtain
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred
• Most recent NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) required at presentation
• Active DEA (must be obtained prior to start)
• Visa sponsorship not available (No J-1 or H-1B)
• Not accepting Locums candidates

Working Hours

• Night-focused schedule
• 6–12 nocturnist shifts per month
• Flexible scheduling model supporting work-life balance
