Coverage Needed
- Start Date: 05-01-2026
- End Date: Ongoing
- Schedule: Up to 8 call shifts a month, including 2 weekends. Options include 7 am Thursday - 7 am Monday or 7 am Friday - 7 am Tuesday. 24-hour call shifts, offsite within 15 minutes of the facility
- High priority weekends:
- June 19-21
- June 26-28
- July 31 – Aug 2
- Coverage Type: Call Only
- Call Type: Beeper
- Call Response Time Required: 15 minutes
- Call Back %: 80
Clinical Details
- Practice Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: 2 RNs, 4 MAs, Respiratory Therapists, Lactation Support onsite
- PEDs Level: 2
- Patients Per Shift: 0-2
- Average Deliveries Per Year: 350
- Specialty Skills Required: Low risk pregnancy, High risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation, Level I/Screening (viability), Routine delivery, C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations, Surgical gynecology; Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's
- Support for C-sections: FM OB's and FM OB residents can assist
- Facility Details: 4 labor rooms, 4 postpartum rooms, and an OR in the L&D unit
Requirements
- Active OR license and OR DEA
- Board Certified OBGYN
- BLS and NRP Required
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
- Hospital/Surgery Center Privileges Required
- Supervision of Residents Required
- Privileging will take close to 90 days
