Are you a dedicated OB-GYN physician seeking an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional care in a dynamic and supportive environment? We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician to provide critical services during a key coverage period. This role offers a unique chance to work with a collaborative team, manage diverse patient cases, and contribute to outstanding maternal and gynecological care.

Required Skills:
  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Valid Virginia State Medical License
  • BLS and ACLS Certifications
  • Active DEA Certification for Virginia
  • Minimum of 2 years of case logs demonstrating experience
  • Excellent clinical judgment and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and on-call rotations
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR system and JADE Equipment

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with GYN ED procedures
  • Prior work in labor and delivery settings
  • Familiarity with Virginia healthcare regulations and hospital protocols
  • Additional certifications or training related to maternal-fetal medicine or advanced gynecological procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • At least 2 years of OB-GYN practice experience, particularly in hospital or delivery setting
  • Proven track record of managing a high volume of deliveries and complex cases

Other Requirements:
  • Coverage needed from March 9, 2026, to March 20, 2026, with 24-hour call shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
  • Support staff includes RNs, pediatricians, anesthesia teams, lactation consultants, and onsite management
  • Support covering GYN emergency department cases while on call
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-volume labor and delivery department
  • Travel reimbursements provided when applicable

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Rate: $4,680.00
