Are you a dedicated OB-GYN physician seeking an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional care in a dynamic and supportive environment? We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician to provide critical services during a key coverage period. This role offers a unique chance to work with a collaborative team, manage diverse patient cases, and contribute to outstanding maternal and gynecological care.
Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid Virginia State Medical License
- BLS and ACLS Certifications
- Active DEA Certification for Virginia
- Minimum of 2 years of case logs demonstrating experience
- Excellent clinical judgment and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and on-call rotations
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system and JADE Equipment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with GYN ED procedures
- Prior work in labor and delivery settings
- Familiarity with Virginia healthcare regulations and hospital protocols
- Additional certifications or training related to maternal-fetal medicine or advanced gynecological procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- At least 2 years of OB-GYN practice experience, particularly in hospital or delivery setting
- Proven track record of managing a high volume of deliveries and complex cases
Other Requirements:
- Coverage needed from March 9, 2026, to March 20, 2026, with 24-hour call shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
- Support staff includes RNs, pediatricians, anesthesia teams, lactation consultants, and onsite management
- Support covering GYN emergency department cases while on call
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-volume labor and delivery department
- Travel reimbursements provided when applicable
Compensation:
