Exciting opportunity for an experienced OB/GYN to provide full 24-hour in-house hospital coverage, managing labor & delivery and emergency gynecologic cases in a supportive hospital environment!
🗓️ Schedule
- Shifts: 6–8 per month
- Shift Length: 24 hours in-house
- Coverage: Labor & delivery floor, obstetric & gynecologic patients
- Patient Volume: 10–15 triages/day plus deliveries
👩⚕️ Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour in-house OB/GYN coverage
- Manage labor & delivery, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections
- Handle circumcisions and emergency gynecologic cases
- Provide inpatient consultations and support for hospital staff
- Use EMR (Cerner) for documentation and patient care
🏥 Practice Highlights
- Hospital-based coverage only (no clinic required)
- Full inpatient support, including lab and pharmacy access
- Exposure to high-acuity obstetric and gynecologic cases
- Collaborative hospital environment with dedicated support staff
✅ Requirements
- Board Certified OB/GYN
- Active Illinois License or IMLC LOQ
- Self-query NPDB report (within 30 days)
