📍 Position Overview
- Specialty: OB/GYN
- Location: Richmond, Virginia
- Practice Setting: Office + Hospital + Call
- EMR: Epic
- Call Ratio: 1:4
🗓️ Schedule
- Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Call: 24-hour call (includes weekday coverage)
- Patient Volume: 25–30 patients/day
- Credentialing: ~120 days
👩⚕️ Practice Environment
- 4 physicians (1 on leave)
- 5 midwives and 5 APPs
- 1:1 clinical support (CMA/LPN/RN)
- 3 exam rooms per provider
- Onsite lab and ultrasound
- Level III NICU support
- Level II trauma designation
📊 Case Mix
- Low-risk OB: ~90%
- High-risk OB: ~10%
- GYN: ~20%
- C-section rate: ~10%
- Optional GYN surgery volume based on provider preference
🔧 Required Obstetrics Skills
- Low-risk pregnancy management
- FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
- OB ultrasound interpretation
- Routine and complicated vaginal deliveries
- C-sections, breech, multiples, VBACs
- Repair of 3rd/4th degree lacerations
🔬 Required Gynecology Skills
- Office procedures (IUD, colposcopy, LEEP, cryo, cystoscopy)
- Laparoscopic/minor procedures
- Major GYN surgery including ectopic management, oophorectomy, cystectomy, LOAs
✅ Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN
- Active Virginia license (or willing to obtain)
- BLS & ACLS
- NPDB self-query (within 30 days)
