Job Responsibilities
• 24-hour in-house call coverage
• Manage L&D including emergent deliveries and C-sections
• Admissions required
• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN clinical coverage as needed
Qualifications
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Active Kentucky license required to bid (IMLC accepted per bid requirements)
• BLS and PALS required
• Comfortable with full-spectrum OB and emergent GYN support
• EMR: MediTech
Working Hours
• Call Type: In-House
• Shift Model: 24-hour in-house coverage
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing
• Avg patient volume: ~8 per shift
Skills
• FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
• OB ultrasound performance and interpretation (Level I & II)
• Routine and complicated vaginal deliveries
• C-sections (including urgent/emergent)
• VBAC, breech, multiples, abruptions
• Minor office procedures (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, LEEP, etc.)
• Operative/major GYN (ectopic, cystectomy, oophorectomy, LOA, etc.)
