Assignment Details:
- Schedule: 24-hour beeper call (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.)
- Dates Needed: 2/27, 2/28, 3/3, 3/4, 3/5
- Ongoing Need: Once or twice per quarter
- Coverage Model: Solo coverage
- Setting: Hospital-based OB only (no clinic)
Clinical Scope:
- Vaginal deliveries
- Cesarean sections
- OB call coverage for planned births and walk-in presentations
- High-risk OB managed onsite as needed, though no scheduled high-risk cases are expected during coverage
Volume:
- 21–33 deliveries per month (recent averages)
- Mix of vaginal deliveries and C-sections
Support & Environment:
- Highly efficient, experienced OB staff
- Strong C-section support team
- Well-organized department with clear expectations
