- Other details: The facility is looking for a provider to cover beeper call only. We are seeking an OB GYN provider for 24-hour call coverage on specific dates, including March 23rd 8AM to March 27th 8AM, and May 4th 8AM to May 8th 8AM, with an additional call from May 15th 8AM to May 18th 8AM. Providers must be currently enrolled with PECOS, hold an active NC license, NC DEA, and NC Medicaid credentials. The provider will round on patients, be on-call for emergent C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and emergent GYN procedures. High-risk deliveries are only emergent, with transfers to nearby facilities for NICU care as needed. The facility offers 24/7 hospitalist, anesthesiology, and radiology support. The average monthly delivery count is 27, with 11 C-sections, 3 labor rooms, and 14 postpartum beds.

Job Responsibilities
* Round on patients and be on-call for emergent C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and emergent GYN procedures.
* Handle high-risk deliveries, transferring to nearby facilities for NICU care as needed.
* Coordinate with hospitalist, anesthesiology, and radiology support teams available 24/7.
* Respond to beeper calls and manage any urgent or emergent situations during the shift.
Qualifications
* Currently enrolled with PECOS.
* Active NC license, NC DEA, and NC Medicaid credentials.
* No recent or open malpractice cases.
* Must submit case logs from the last 12 months (from a hospital).
Working Hours
* On-call only, with response to beeper calls as needed.
Skills
* Ability to manage high-risk deliveries and coordinate transfers for NICU care.
* Excellent communication skills for collaborating with hospital staff and other specialists.
* Ability to handle a busy and high-acuity environment with efficiency and professionalism.
