TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN to provide hospital call coverage for an established women’s care practice in Edenton, North Carolina. This assignment includes inpatient-only coverage at the affiliated hospital.
Position Details
Job Type: Locum Tenens
Offering: OB/GYN Physician
Coverage Dates: June 12 – June 15 (8:00 AM – 8:00 AM)
Setting: 100% Inpatient
Facility & Practice Environment
25-bed hospital
Hospital privileges required
Low-volume Emergency Department (7 beds)
Delivery volume: 28–34 per month
EMR: Epic
Air and Ground Support available for patient transfers
No ICU responsibilities
Locum provider will not respond to codes
Clinical Responsibilities
Hospital call coverage
Management of vaginal deliveries
Cesarean deliveries
Must be able to respond to the hospital within 20 minutes
Additional Requirements
If the locum provider covers more than 6 months, the following are required:
Current ALSO certification
Completion of AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course within the last 2 years
Current NRP certification
