- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 2 is looking for a provider to cover In-House call only. There are an average of 25 patients per shift. We are seeking providers to cover several in-house 24-hour call shifts per month on an ongoing, long-term basis. Current dates needed include multiple days in March, April, May, June, and July. This is a high-acuity, fast-paced practice where providers will manage emergent cases such as hysterectomies, ectopic pregnancies, D&Cs, ovarian cystectomies, hysteroscopies, IUD insertions, abscesses, post-hysterectomy complications, and exploratory laparotomies. The team includes five midwives who provide support during labor and delivery. Providers will be responsible for in-house call, with no overtime unless the provider stays beyond the 24-hour shift.

Job Responsibilities
* Manage emergent cases, including hysterectomies, ectopic pregnancies, D&Cs, ovarian cystectomies, hysteroscopies, IUD insertions, abscesses, post-hysterectomy complications, and exploratory laparotomies.
* Work closely with midwives to support labor and delivery care.
* Provide high-acuity care in a busy practice environment.
* Stay beyond the 24-hour shift if necessary (with overtime pay).
Qualifications
* Experience handling high-acuity, emergent cases in obstetrics and gynecology.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Comfortable with in-house call and working overnight shifts.

* Current dates needed: March 21, 23; April 5, 8, 13, 16; May 13, 16, 22, 24, 27, 30; June 1, 2, 10, 15, 18, 19, 24, 27, 29; July 2, 7, 10-12, 15, 20-21, 24-26, 29.

* Ability to provide effective and compassionate patient care under pressure.
* Good teamwork and communication skills, especially when collaborating with midwives and other providers.
* Capacity to handle high-volume, high-acuity cases with efficiency and accuracy.
