A facility in Texas seeks a locum tenens OB/GYN physician to provide scheduled clinic and backup call coverage. Start date is March 1, 2026 with an expected commitment of 3–6 months. The assignment includes Monday–Friday clinic hours (8 AM–5 PM) with daytime rounding, deliveries, and potential evening call. Call will be scheduled 7–10 days per month in a 2nd call / backup model with a 30-minute response time.
Qualifications
– Active Texas medical license (no licensing reimbursement).
– ACLS and BLS certifications.
– Clean malpractice history.
– Able to commit at least 3–6 months with a minimum of 4 clinic days/week and 7–10 call days/month starting March 1, 2026.
– Experience with outpatient clinic, rounding, deliveries and surgical gynecology.
