Physician - Obstetrics / Gynecology in Virginia

Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Office hours 8am-4pm with daily 24-hour call, 24-hour weekend call
• Job Setting: Office, inpatient, average 25-30 scheduled patients per day
• Types of Cases: OBGYN
• Required OB procedures: Low Risk Pregnancy, FHR interpretation NST/CST/FSE, OB ultrasounds performance of interpretation and performance of Level I/screening
• Required Labor and Delivery procedures: Routine delivery vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section, complicated delivery C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs, repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Required GYN procedures: Office/minor gynecology IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP; surgical gynecology open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only tubal ligation, LOAs, chromal tubation, operative/major ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs
• Credentialing: 120 days

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible OBGYN
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Licensure: Active Virginia license required, will consider candidates willing to obtain state license
