Locums OB Hospitalist Opportunity
Location: Clinton, North Carolina
Dates Needed: Monday, March 23, 8:00 AM – Friday, March 27, 8:00 AM
Coverage: 24-hour call only
KEY DETAILS
- Role:
- Round on patients
- On-call for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries
- Available for emergent GYN procedures
- High-Risk Deliveries: Emergent only; transfer to NICU at New Hanover Regional or Cape Fear Valley (~30–45 min)
- Nursery: Level 1 at Sampson Regional
- Hospitalist Support: Yes
- On-Call Support: 24/7 Anesthesiology and Radiology
- Average Deliveries/Month: 27 (11 C-sections)
- Labor/Postpartum Rooms: 3 labor rooms, 14 postpartum beds
- Census per Shift: 1–3 deliveries/24 hours
- Housing: Hospital apartments adjacent to facility
- Call Requirement: Must be within 20 minutes of hospital per bylaws
- Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Active North Carolina medical license
- Active NC DEA (NC address)
- NC Medicaid Credential
- EMR: MediTech 6.1
- Call type: Beeper, response within 20 minutes
