Job Opportunity: Locum to Perm - Physician - OB/GYN

Join a collaborative team at an established OB/GYN facility in Richmond, Virginia. The practice provides comprehensive care with a focus on low-risk pregnancies and a supportive environment for both patients and staff. This position offers an opportunity to engage in a mix of office and hospital-based practices, including call responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care to patients.
• Participate in routine deliveries, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
• Conduct necessary gynecological procedures such as IUD placements and colposcopies.
• Interpret ultrasound scans and conduct fetal heart rate monitoring.
• Collaborate with midwives and support staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Engage in ongoing patient assessments and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation using the electronic medical record system.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
• Experience with both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies.
• Demonstrated skills in labor and delivery procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Virginia medical license or willingness to obtain.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Self-query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation.
