Job description This is a high-priority OB/GYN locums call coverage need in Clinton, North Carolina, offering a defined 24-hour call block in late March. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys inpatient call coverage with strong hospital support, including 24/7 anesthesia and radiology backup. The assignment includes housing in hospital apartments adjacent to the facility and a manageable delivery volume, making this a great short-term block with an efficient setup.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour OB/GYN call coverage
• Round on patients daily while on assignment
• Respond to emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries
• Provide emergent GYN procedure coverage as needed
• Manage admissions and rounding responsibilities
• Provide delivery coverage for low-risk and emergent high-risk cases
• Coordinate transfers for NICU-level care when required

Qualifications

• Board Certified required
• Active North Carolina license required
• NC DEA required (NC address)
• Must be enrolled in PECOS
• Must have NC Medicaid credential
• Must be fully vaccinated
• Case logs required (past 12 months, from hospital source)
• Must be actively delivering babies

• Average 27 deliveries per month

• Provider must remain within 20 minutes per bylaws
