This is an excellent long-term OB/GYN locums opportunity in Middlesboro, Kentucky, offering a steady mix of weekday clinic coverage plus call. This client is actively seeking consistent coverage starting late December and continuing ongoing, making it a great fit for providers who want stability, reliable scheduling, and long-term assignment potential. Middlesboro offers a close-knit community atmosphere with beautiful Appalachian scenery and easy access to outdoor recreation, hiking, and weekend escapes.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide scheduled clinical coverage plus call support
• Manage admissions and inpatient rounding
• Provide delivery coverage including vaginal and C-sections
• Manage high-risk and low-risk pregnancy cases
• Perform emergent OB and GYN procedures as needed
Qualifications
• Kentucky license required (KY only)
• ACLS required
• ATLS required
• BLS required
• PALS required
• ABLS required
• AHA required
• Must be comfortable with full scope OB including C-sections
Working Hours
• Duration: Ongoing
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
• Clinic Need: Monday–Friday 8:00a–4:30p
• Call Type: Beeper Call
• Call Response Time: 20 minutes
• Patient Volume: 5 per shift
• Average Deliveries Per Year: 250
