Job Responsibilities
• Manage admissions and rounding as needed
• Provide OB/GYN call coverage via beeper call
• Supervise advanced practice providers as required
• Deliver full-scope OB services including routine and complicated deliveries
• Perform surgical gynecology procedures including open and laparoscopic cases
• Provide office-based GYN procedures including IUD placement, colposcopy, LEEP, cystoscopy, and more
Qualifications
• Active Wisconsin license OR IMLC accepted to bid
• ACLS required
• BLS required
• PALS required
• Must be comfortable with high-risk and low-risk pregnancy management
• Must be skilled in C-sections, VBACs, breech, multiples, and complicated deliveries
• Epic EMR experience required
Working Hours
• Duration: Ongoing coverage
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
• Call Type: Beeper call
• Call Response Time: 20 minutes
• Call Ratio: 1:5
• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
Skills
• OB ultrasound performance and interpretation
• Amniocentesis
• Routine vaginal deliveries and complicated deliveries
• C-section decision-making and surgical execution
• Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• VBAC management
• Office GYN procedures including IUD, cryosurgery, colposcopy, LEEP, cystoscopy
• Surgical gynecology including open and laparoscopic procedures
• Ectopic pregnancy management, ovarian surgery, cystectomy, extensive LOA
