Job description
We are seeking a skilled OBGYN to provide locum services in beautiful Alaska. Scenic location with low delivery volume and a supportive team environment. Looking to start as soon as April, credentialing will be expedited!
Job Details:
- Case Types: Full scope, General, OBGYN
- Setting: Clinic & Inpatient
- EMR: Epic
- Patient Population: Primarily adult
- 10 (clinic), 0-2 (labor & delivery) patients per day
- Support staff: A second OB/GYN is always on call, with 24/7 ED and hospitalist support
Schedule:
- Clinic (8:00AM - 5:00PM)
- Call: 24-hour shifts, typically 2-3 consecutive days with a clinic day in between
- Call Requirements: ~7 days per month of 1st or 2nd call (including weekends)
- 24-hour coverage for labor & delivery, + ED offsite response
Requirements:
- Board Certification (BC required)
- Active AK license (Must be in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- Experience with both inpatient & outpatient settings
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
