The position requires hands-on experience with obstetric procedures, on-site ultrasound and lab services, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Required Skills:
- Valid OB/GYN medical license in Ohio or ability to obtain promptly
- Board-certified or eligible in OB/GYN
- Proficiency in obstetric and gynecologic procedures
- Experience with EMR systems, preferably EPIC
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior locum or temporary coverage experience
- Familiarity with high-risk obstetrics management
- Ability to interpret fetal monitoring (FHR interpretation, NST, CST, FSE)
- Experience in minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of obstetrics/gynecology practice experience
- Current Ohio medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Other Requirements:
- Availability for scheduled dates: March 13-15, 2026
- Willingness to provide call coverage: Two weekends per month, with a 1:4 call ratio
- Ability to work in a Level II nursery setting
- Travel reimbursement provided, including flight, hotel, rental car, or mileage (up to $150/night lodging), when applicable
