We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens full-scope OB/GYN opportunity in Ontario, Oregon. This role offers 24-hour pager call coverage with a low-volume, well-supported environment, making it ideal for physicians seeking balanced call responsibility with meaningful clinical impact.
The position includes clinic coverage and hospital call, supporting obstetrics, gynecology, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and newborn services. The hospital features a modern LDRP unit and utilizes EPIC EMR, ensuring efficient workflows and continuity of care.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage labor and delivery, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care
• Perform gynecologic evaluations, procedures, and consultations
• Respond to obstetric and gynecologic pager call as needed
• Manage obstetric emergencies and routine deliveries
• Provide care in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) setting
• Collaborate with nursing, anesthesia, pediatrics, and hospital staff
• Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record
Qualifications
• Active Oregon medical license (preferred) or willingness to obtain licensure
• DEA and controlled substance registration
• BLS certification
• Experience with full-scope OB/GYN practice
• Clean malpractice and background history
• Ability to cover a minimum number of monthly call shifts
• NPDB self-query within required timeframe
