ConnectHealth is seeking a strong, full-scope Board Certified OB/GYN for an ongoing locums opportunity in Wisconsin Rapids, WI starting March 1, 2026. This is an excellent long-term assignment for a provider who enjoys a true mix of clinic and Labor & Delivery coverage, and who is confident managing both routine and high-acuity OB cases.
This role is ideal for an OB/GYN looking for consistent ongoing work and the ability to make a real impact supporting a long-term vacancy need.
Job Responsibilities
Manage scheduled OB/GYN clinic visits including routine and complex patient care
Provide call coverage with delivery and emergent OB response as needed
Perform vaginal deliveries, complicated deliveries, and C-sections independently
Manage high-risk OB cases including VBACs, breech presentations, multiples, and abruptions
Interpret fetal monitoring and provide appropriate interventions for maternal fetal safety
Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds as needed
Perform amniocentesis and manage pregnancy complications when clinically indicated
Provide office-based GYN procedures including IUD placement, colposcopy, and LEEP
Perform operative GYN cases including laparoscopic and major surgical procedures
Supervise and collaborate with APP support while ensuring quality patient outcomes
Maintain timely documentation and communicate effectively with nursing and hospital teams
Qualifications
Active Wisconsin license required OR IMLC eligibility accepted
Act 10 accepted - FOR ANY CANDIDATE AVAILABLE
ACLS required | BLS required | PALS required
Must be comfortable supervising APP support
Strong full-scope OB/GYN experience required
Will review Call Only Candidates, as well
