Locums OB Hospitalist – Clinton, North Carolina
Dates Needed / Schedule
- Monday, March 23, 8:00 AM – Friday, March 27, 8:00 AM
- Friday, April 10, 6:00 AM – Monday, April 13, 8:00 AM
- Call Type: 24-hour coverage, beeper response required within 20 minutes
- Shifts: Call only
- Patient Load: Average 27 deliveries per month (approx. 11 C-sections)
- Labor/Postpartum: 3 labor rooms, 14 postpartum beds, census typically 1–3 deliveries per 24 hours
- Round on patients, manage emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries
- Available for emergent GYN procedures
- High-risk deliveries: emergent only; high-risk transfers to NICU ~30–45 minutes away
- Level 1 nursery
- Admissions required; assigned and unassigned patients
- On-site Support: Hospitalist staff, Anesthesiology (24/7), Radiology (24/7)
- EMR: MediTech 6.1
- Housing: Hospital apartments adjacent to facility
- Travel Requirement: Must be within 20 minutes of hospital per bylaws
- Communication: Hospital will call cell phone
- Board Certified – Required
- Active NC License – Required
- North Carolina DEA
- Must have NC Medicaid Credential
