Full-Time | Inpatient & Outpatient | Board Certified or Eligible
Seeking a dedicated OB/GYN physician to join a mission-driven practice serving a medically underserved community in Illinois. This is a comprehensive role covering both inpatient labor & delivery and outpatient office care, with robust support, a state-of-the-art birthing center, and excellent benefits.

Dedicated surgical suite for obstetrics & gynecology

Outpatient office located on-campus with experienced staff

Partnership with a local FQHC for safety-net womenβs care

Total beds: 15

Exam rooms: 2 + procedure room

Onsite ultrasound; Cerner EMR (Epic conversion in 2025)

Support from seasoned RNs and APPs (current & future staffing)
πΆ Clinical Scope
Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics
-
Low-risk pregnancies (40β50%) & high-risk pregnancies (50β60%)
-
Fetal monitoring, NST/CST/FSE interpretation
-
OB ultrasounds: performance and interpretation
-
Vaginal deliveries, operative vaginal deliveries (low forceps)
-
C-sections (routine & complicated), breech, multiple births, VBACs
-
Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
Gynecology / Office Procedures
-
Minor procedures: IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP
-
Laparoscopic/diagnostic: tubal ligation, LOAs, chromal tubation
-
Operative/major: ectopic pregnancy, oophorectomy, cystectomy, extensive LOAs
Patient Volume / Practice Mix

Practitioner-determined patient load in outpatient clinic
-
Nursery admissions: 0β3/day
-
C-section rate: ~30%
β Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN (must be BC within 1 year if BE)
-
Illinois medical license (or willingness to obtain)

NRP certification required
-
Clean malpractice preferred
-
State experience with all required OB/GYN conditions/procedures

Must not require visa support
