Job description OB/GYN Hospitalist - Edison, New Jersey

THE OPPORTUNITY
A regional medical center in Edison, New Jersey is seeking Board Certified OB/GYN Hospitalists to join their team. This unique position combines 24-hour in-house hospitalist shifts with occasional daytime full-scope OB/GYN services in the facility's family medicine residency clinic, offering teaching opportunities with medical students and family medicine residents.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

THE ROLE
- 6-8 twenty-four-hour in-house shifts per month
- Occasional daytime full-scope OB/GYN services in family medicine residency clinic
- Patients from clinic referred to hospitalist team for inpatient care
- Partner with nursing and support certified nurse midwives
- Support family medicine residents in outpatient setting
- Gynecology surgical cases from clinic supported by hospitalist team
- Coverage of ED and inpatient GYN consultations
- Teaching medical students and family medicine residents
- On-call duties required

REQUIREMENTS
- MD/DO, Board Certified (ABOG or AOBOG)
- Active and current skills in full breadth of OB/GYN specialty
- Current New Jersey license
- Open to teaching medical students and family medicine residents
- Ability to partner with nursing and work with CNMs
