Seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our dynamic team across three hospital campuses. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians who thrive in high-acuity, academic, and collaborative hospital settings.

πŸ₯ Position Highlights

  • Provide in-house OB/GYN coverage across three campuses (one site per day)

  • Staff residents on Labor & Delivery (L&D) as in-house OB hospitalist

  • Manage medically complex, high-risk pregnancies and perform advanced obstetrical surgeries

  • Perform gynecologic surgeries, including hysterectomy, and manage clinic patients

  • Supervise and teach residents, contributing to Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs

  • Work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays on a scheduled rotation

  • Participate in system-wide OB hospitalist initiatives to improve care delivery and patient outcomes

  • Engage with the community and support Mount Carmel’s mission to provide exceptional care to all populations

πŸ’° Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting salary: $300,000 with guaranteed 5% annual increases

  • Sign-on bonus: $35,000–$40,000 (negotiable)

  • Comprehensive benefits starting Day 1

  • PTO: 27 days/year (216 hours), with rollover of up to 40 hours

  • Holiday pay and planned holiday rotation for 3 years

  • Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)

  • Opportunity to work with a supportive academic team at a Level III NICU with strong residency affiliation with The Ohio State University

  • Flexible scheduling with options to pick up additional shifts at increased rates

βœ… Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN (new grads from strong residencies considered)

  • At least 2 years clinical experience preferred

  • OH license (or willingness to obtain)

  • Clean malpractice and license history

  • DEA (or able to obtain)

  • Willing to rotate between all three hospital sites

  • Strong interest in team-based obstetrical care, high-risk pregnancies, and resident education

  • Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days)

  • No locum, visa sponsorship, or 1099 candidates accepted
